Description
Drosera capensis is a free-flowering, robust and easy-to-grow carnivorous perennial plant. It has varying height, but usually around 15cm. The short, woody stems emerge from a rhizome with well-developed roots. Leaves are flattened and bear tentacles covered in sticky enzyme glands which cover the leaf surface.
Insects are trapped and digested, larger prey is wrapped up by rolling leaves as digestion takes place.
